Inner Garden Quilt – ANNA MARIA HORNER
TUESDAY 26th JUNE 10:00am – 4:30pm
LIMITED TO 25 PEOPLE
The Inner Garden Quilt (and the featured Sweet Dreams fabric collection) was inspired by Anna Maria’s walk through the King’s Park Botanical garden in Western Australia. As a class she will teach a series of techniques involved in the making of this quilt (which is her first BOM program). A riff on a medallion quilt, Inner Garden builds from a single piece of stunning floral fabric and then tells the story of that floral’s palette by exploring simple patchwork blocks, appliqué, curved piecing and dresden fans. A marvellous class for getting a good quilt palette lesson and learning how printed fabric elements can contribute to an overall quilt design.
